Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Why learn improvisation? It improves confidence, concentration and listening. It hones thinking on your feet and adapting to change while working collaboratively in an accepting environment. Most of all. Improv is fun. There are no starring vs. minor roles. Everyone participates and chooses how large they want their part to be. Class meets from 1 to 4 pm at 2817 North Ave, Grand Junction. A practice performance will be held TBD on Friday, December 30 and during a live show on December 31. The $100 fee includes 1 comp ticket to a December 31 show. |
