Noah Package
If Noah Built the Ark Today is a comedy version of what life was like cooped up with teenaged sons. Noah - Extreme Makeover Edition - Noah is startled to hear the voice of God and the plan for an extreme makeover - whole world edition. Two characters, 2 minute run times. The Atheist, the Christian and Noah is a two character, two scene skit providing scientific evidence about the feasibility of housing the animals on the ark. Versions for three story tellers (plus three minor characters and extras), choral reading/Greek chorus (with accompanying PowerPoint) and reader’s theater (with lesson plan ideas and a rubric) complete the set.
Joshua - all 24 chapters have been condensed into a multi-scene reader's theater script. Characters change from scene to scene and run time varies based on scenes chosen.
The King package
Includes scripts about the kings of Judah and Israel. Most (Asa, Hezekiah and Jehoshaphat) are done in multiple newsroom scenes, Jeroboam as the TV show This Is Your Life format and David as a monologue about studying God’s word. An additional reader’s theater script for Hezekiah is included. Jehoshaphat on the news is a 6 scene script that reports the events in King Jehoshaphat’s reign as if the audience were watching the news on TV. Run time is approximately 12 minutes with eleven characters (doubling possible). Reading level is approximately 6.5 Asa and Hezekiah both have 10 characters with doubling possible, 9 minute run time. Jeroboam – on judgment day Jeroboam realizes he had many opportunities to turn back to God but he chose not to. 6M, 2F, 4 either, run time 8 minutes. Creation choral reading below

The story of Jonah in 4 scenes (one is a choral reading of Jonah’s prayer in chapter 2) with director’s notes, 6 .JPEGS with scripture and link to a free interactive battleship game. Can be used as a puppet or people script or even add suggested songs and make it a musical. Characters: 6-9 (doubling possible), run time: 9 minutes, additional time needed if songs are added. Ruth and Boaz: the Kind Couple is a three minute, 4 character skit that emphasizes the kindness of Ruth toward her mother-in-law and Boaz toward widows. Do You Know What It Is Like? Two intertwined monologues by Leah, who shares the pain of never measuring up and Rachel, who shares her frustration of never having anything she could call her own. Four minute run time ending on a ray of hope that Rachel may finally be pregnant. The Tower of Babel is a quick comedy about the day confused the languages featuring construction workers with a Jersey accent. Gideon or Midian is a look at Gideon’s life and whether one should be faithful or fearful Esther – A somewhat melodramatic reader’s theater version of the book of Esther (in the Old Testament) broken into 9 scenes.
